here's some of my most recent stuff

This is a design brief from Daryl, make a zombie, but draw a silhouette first. Then the head, and finally drawing him playing tennis, interesting.

These were based off the words, 'Shamanic Urban Nomad'. They are both silhouettes, but they will be polished into actual characters soon.Another thing I've been working on is a preschool pitch for the applied timing module, two ideas had to be brought forward for animation aimed at 2-5 year olds.
My first idea was about a Gargoyle, but we'll get to him later. The idea the group liked the most was about a Giant Anteater that turns up uninvited to a suburban house. The main characters were two sibling that kept bickering and fighting with each other, but they have to work together in order to dispose the beast from the house. Kind of like the Cat in the Hat or The Tiger who came for Tea.

I wanted it to look like th old illustration style that was found in old childrens' books. One guy I took inspiration from was E. H Shepard, his illustrations are just gorgeous.
Absolutley brilliant! And onto my Gargoyle idea, this one was really based off all the things that I liked in design and trying to mesh it with preschool ideals.
But alas, he is not meant to be for the preschool crowd. The concept was based off the whole don't judge a book by its cover, as he was meant to be a helpful Samaritan that wandered around helping those in need. By folklore, gargoyles look grotesque to ward off bad spirits from the church they reside at. So, spring boarding from that I thought he could be a force of good. They'll be a whole post dedicated to Ridley soon as this idea is gonna stick close to me for a while, as for know I'll be working on my Anteater story for my module.oh and one last thing..
